OASIS APPROACH
Oasis develops its approach from a belief that humans are made for community through caring relationships, and have inherent worth and dignity. Oasis also affirms that all humans are designed for a purpose, and emphasises the fact that all men and women, though different, are equal.
Oasis takes an integrated and comprehensive approach to its work. Oasis understands that humans are complex beings with various inter-related elements: physical, mental, emotional, social and spiritual, and that each individual must be understood in relationship to their family (or lack of), community, and wider society.
The Oasis approach therefore is to work with individuals towards transforming well-being in all areas of their life, and to restore broken familial relationships, encourage inclusive community, and to ensure systems are just.
